La Cantina Canalla

In the bustling streets of San Antonio’s harbour area awaits a modern and colourful Peruvian and Nikkei restaurant offering fresh South American and Japanese fusion dishes such as ceviches and tiraditos, as well as sushi rolls and some meat plates. The kitchen is headed up by Roberto Silhuay, a gastronomic ambassador of his home country Peru – so you know it’s going to be good! Make sure you also try one of the modern variations of the classic Pisco Sour cocktail!

San Carlos Bar and Restaurante

A magical garden terrace shrouded in green ivy awaits behind the white walls of this charming grill restaurant, which specialises in fine meat cuts from Uruguay. Enjoy expertly mixed cocktails or the classic Spanish sundowner drink Vermouth, and gather friends and family in the relaxed and welcoming of San Carlos Bar Restaurante surroundings for a hearty meal. Diners can choose between fresh seafood and fish, homemade pasta dishes and, of course, mouth-watering meats prepared on the wood-fired BBQ and grill.

Chidas Bar + Cantina

Located in the unassuming back streets behind the harbour and big plazas in Ibiza Town, Chidas Bar + Cantina is a local favourite for cocktails and tacos and often described as a ‘hidden gem’. The taqueria specialises in tequila and mezcal mixology creations, as well as authentic street food style tacos with seasonal vegetable, fish and meat fillings. There are also several vegetarian options on the menu, so no one has to miss out on Taco Tuesdays!

BiBo Ibiza Bay

Taking pride of place on the Ibiza Bay Nobu Hotel’s seaside terrace, BiBo is a new pop-up by renowned Spanish chef Dani Garcia and offers a special ‘menu within a menu’ of authentic Mexican street food. Created by collaborator Abril Chamorro, the ‘BiBa Mexico’ selection includes treats such as sea bass tacos, burritos filled with Iberian pork and chicken tacos ‘al pastor’. You will also find plenty of fresh seafood and fish dishes, such as corvine ceviche and tuna tartare. It’s a contemporary and elevated take on a humble cuisine brimming with fresh flavours.

Maymanta

Located on the beautiful rooftop terrace of the elegant Aguas de Ibiza Grand Luxe hotel in Santa Eulalia, Maymanta is helmed by renowned Peruvian chef Oscar Malpartida and offers a variety of South American sharing plates such as ceviches and tiraditos, but also risottos, woks and grill dishes. Each plate is an explosion of colours and flavours, artfully arranged – and with the breathtaking views over Santa Eulalia’s harbour, Maymanta truly is a winner!

Taco Paco

A cult classic amongst island residents, Taco Paco is located on the main road that runs through Santa Eulalia and is known for its unpretentious ambience, potent Margaritas and authentic Mexican food. Sit out on the bustling terrace or inside the quirky dining room, decorated with trinkets and artwork from 'Mama Mexico'. The Margaritas are as legendary as they are large, and the menu offers a variety of tasty tacos, fajitas, burritos and more.

Overall

A new ‘eatery and drinkery’ in the gourmet hotspot of Santa Gertrudis, Overall has an amazing cocktail laboratory and grill kitchen specialising in South American tapas dishes with Asian influences. Its urban vibe – graffiti walls and a Hip Hop soundtrack - is like nothing else you will find on the island, and neither is the equipment you see behind the bar and kitchen counter! Feast on tasty ribs, beef brisket and veggies from the ‘super smoker’ or super fresh corn tortilla topped with smoked fish, prawns and vegetables. The menu changes frequently depending on the seasonal ingredients and what catches chef and co-owner Monica’s eye!

Can Limo

Situated on the main strip in the charming village of Sant Josep, Can Limo has an excellent reputation amongst the island’s foodies for its delicious Peruvian bites. Stop by for cocktails, traditional Peruvian dishes and – on the weekends – fresh oysters. The restaurant also prides itself on its selection of vegan and vegetarian plates, so no one has to miss out!

Higo

Higo is a stylish new eatery headed up by chefs Maximus and Jan, overlooking the Balearic Sea from its beautiful location in the harbour of Santa Eulalia. The restaurant specialises in Nikkei cuisine, a fusion of ancient Japanese and Peruvian cooking techniques, and boasts a wide variety of fresh, seasonal dishes with plenty of vegetarian options, too. Open for lunch and dinner, stop by for a cocktail at the v-shaped bar or enjoy a magical dinner on the garden terrace.

Gave MX

Founded by a couple of enthusiastic and passionate hospitality graduates, Gave MX has been a success right from the start. Mexican-born chef Rogelio created a menu full of colours and bold flavours that offers high quality ingredients at great value. Feast on tacos, fajitas, enchiladas and all the hearty Mexican classics you love. Vegan and gluten-free options are also available, making this a great little spot for when a craving for Mexican food strikes! Look out for special 'all you can eat' offers, too!
