The recent Ibiza World Clean Up Day effort organised by Plastic Free Ibiza and Saga Ibiza, in collaboration with San Antonio's Es Nàutic comes to the rescue of San Antonio's bay to clear away waste with a small boat flotilla.
The iBi Foundation's dedicated plastic-clearing catamaran: canoeist Toni Prats; the company Kronan Multiservice worker's group helped as did Ibiza Spotlight's very own Katie Uhlig.
Santa Eulalia's beach restaurant Chiringuito Blue and Domus Nova Ibiza helped out in big ways too.
Business Ibiza offered ten people in kayaks and on SUP boards with an extra ten people scouring the coast for waste, rubbish and especially plastics, which pollute so much. All this between the areas of Port des Torrent and Cala Bassa.
See the video below, to learn how this band of brothers and sisters got on.
Ibiza Spotlight fully supports the great work that was done on this day: we are deeply committed to the islands remaining as pristine as possible for all that enjoy it.
