Ibiza Spotlight Weekly News 2020 ep03

This week we gave Katie the strenuous task of investigating Ibiza's beach clubs. Find out how she coped.

Hi everyone, I'm Katie Knight and welcome back to Ibiza Spotlight News. This week we are going to be taking a look at Ibiza's world-famous beach clubs that have all reopened over the last few weeks. And, even though the music won't be pumping this year, the beautiful views and the emphasis on great gastronomy still remains.

So, from here, the beautiful bohemian Beachouse, we're going to be giving you a rundown of the best beach clubs that are now open here on Ibiza.

After a lovely evening at Beachouse Ibiza sister hotel, Mikasa, we got up early and headed down to Playa d'en Bossa for some morning yoga in the rising sun and a healthy delicious brunch here at Beachouse Ibiza.

So now we're going to take a look at all of the beach clubs that we have visited this week.

Here on Playa d'en Bossa, Nassau Beach Club have rolled out their red-carpet service out to the ocean. Every bed was taken when we visited. So, if you are thinking of going, remember to book in advance.

Over the hills at Salinas beach is Sa Trinxa, where we went to catch DJ Andy Wilson lay down some Balearic beats. Even though the speakers are not now on the sand, the vibe still remains the same and the view from the DJ booth is still one of the best in the world…

Cala Jondal is also coming back to life with Yemanjá and Blue Marlin at one end, and the authentic and original beach club in Ibiza, Tropicana, at the other. Sit back, relax and take in those beautiful views of the bay and Formentera

Nikki Beach also reopened yesterday. There may be no big pool parties this year, but the entertainment is still guaranteed, with the return of the very popular Sintillate events and the famous champagne Sunday brunches.

Over on the other side of the island, Café del Mar and Café Mambo have also made a welcome return, bringing chill-out grooves back to San Antonio's sunset strip. We'll be heading down there later to check out this new style in 2020.

That's it from us today. We'll be hitting the road again next week to keep you up to date with everything that's happening here in Ibiza. Don't forget to follow us on Instagram and Facebook and to hit the subscribe button on YouTube
