Benirras beach is just beautiful.
Situated in the North of Ibiza, in the municipality of Sant Joan de Labritja, Benirras is blessed with some of Ibiza's most spectacular sunsets, with its iconic rock, Cap Bernat (The Finger of God), dominating the view. The rock is said to resemble a woman praying and her golden silhouette is one of the best known in the Balearics.
With three restaurants and a hippy market every Friday, Saturday, Sunday from May until Oct, this timeless cove offers a whole day of enjoyment in its clear, sheltered waters. On Sundays, there is always a gathering of drummers at the far end of the beach, which people come from all over to enjoy and even participate in.
In high season it gets very crowded and hard to park on weekends. The road to the beach is closed and an overspill car park, with shuttle bus service, is available approx 2 KM away. Follow the signs.
If you want a hassle-free way to get there, Aquabus offer a day trip leaving from San Antonio.
