International Music Summit 2020 has been cancelled

The next edition will take place in May 2021.

Owing to the current situation we find ourselves in, the organisers behind International Music Summit (IMS) have taken the decision to postpone 2020's edition.

The three-day music conference and Grand Finale party held in Dalt Vila was scheduled for 20 to 22 May. IMS will return in 2021.

Any tickets for the Grand Finale party purchased through Ibiza Spotlight will be refunded automatically.

Conference badge holders will be contacted by their vendors with instruction in due course.

Following cancellations to other large scale events around the globe, including Glastonbury and SXSW festivals, IMS felt it was in everybody's best interests to make this call sooner rather than later.

We echo the disappointment of the industry at this news, but we support IMS in what must have been a tough decision.

"After consultation with our host venue Destino, holding the summit is no longer a viable option. Containing the spread of infection must take priority," a statement read.

As a consolation, the team will produce a virtual version of the event. Details on this will be released soon.
