Amnesia reveals great Pyramid opening line-up

Dance into the future on Sunday 7 June.

Amnesia has just dropped the line-up for the opening party of its house and techno extravaganza Pyramid. You might have guessed that the party set for 7 June is a bit of a corker.

Although the party switches to Sundays in 2020, by the looks of this line-up, it's business as usual for Pyramid. You are invited to appreciate the past, live in the present and dance into the future.

Ricardo Villalobos has been a staple of the Amnesia Terraza for decades, a legacy that continued in the past two seasons of Pyramid. It wouldn't have felt the same without him.

Joining him is an artist who played a single exclusive Ibiza date at Pyramid last summer. As he prepares to release the highly anticipated Sixteen Oceans album, Kieran Hebden AKA Four Tet will be making a welcome early season appearance.

Next, making a rare island outing is Kieran's good friend and peer Sam Shepherd, otherwise known as Floating Points. These two together promise mesmerising soundscapes on The Terraza.

Moving next door to the Techno Room, we head into a high impact, hard-hitting zone.

Following on from five show-stealing displays in 2018 and 2019, the genre's great young hope Charlotte de Witte is back leading the line.

A second blockbuster name is Berlin staple Marcel Dettmann. Meanwhile, after several years of being "one to watch," Brighton-born, Berlin-settled BEC makes a deserved Ibiza debut.

Amnesia regulars Cuartero and Luca Donzelli are also involved, playing The Terraza and the Techno Room respectively.

Aside from the stellar cast, attendees will be transported to a dance floor with lush green tones, 3D lighting set-up and Asian pyramids, making for halcyon hedonism.

With 15 more dates to be revealed, this opening party line-up has our tastebuds on high alert for future announcements.

Travel to Pyramid and look below for tickets to the opening party and the rest of the dates.
