Ibiza Sabor's 2018 autumn edition is here

For great local and seasonal food in restaurants across Ibiza for a good price, this event ticks all boxes.

Ibiza Sabor is back for autumn 2018, with a raft of restaurants offering up the best of local Ibizan produce across the island with pork getting star billing for this edition.

Running all the way to 2 December, the event celebrates the autumnal tradition of pigs going to slaughter on Ibiza to make local products like salchicha and sobrasada sausages. Products like these will make their way onto menus alongside local and seasonal vegetables and fresh fish.

41 establishments are taking part this year with the majority offering three-course menus, tasting menus and mixed tapas menus for €25 per person. A smaller selection of venues will be offering tapas and a drink for a nominal €7.

Fish and seasonal vegetables feature on the menus too

Of the restaurants taking part there's Mirador de Dalt Vila and El Restaurante (Pacha) in Ibiza Town; Royalty and Es Caliu in and around Santa Eulalia; Cas Costas and Nassau Beach Club for Playa d'en Bossa plus Es Nautíc and Es Ventall in San Antonio.

The event will, for the first time, be offering olive oil tastings at the table in all of the participating restaurants to highlight the importance of local olive oil and its producers.

Look out too for the olive oil tasting tour, part of the “Foodie Events” running alongside Ibiza Sabor on 3 November.

This weekend on Friday the 26th, there's a visit to the Ibizkus winery, the start of the three-day Salt Fair with the San Carlos Calamari Fair on Saturday the 27th. Also, this year is Ibiza's first ever “Honey Fair” at the end of November.

The Foodie Events usually require pre-booking, so check out the dedicated page and reserve your spot as directed for each one.
