Together closing party madness

We raved Together on the Amnesia dance floor for one last time.

Here we go again. It's that time again on the island when the parties get seriously wild. As we smash out the season, we are seeing some of the best line-ups ever. After another successful season, the Together closing party at Amnesia brought on a whole new level of epic.

The bar has been set sky high for the rest of the closing parties. The electrifying energy and record-breaking number of bangers thrown at us made Together's final Tuesday of 2018 one to for the books.

Wow. What a night. Here are some of our top moments and stand-out dancefloor belters – where do I even begin?

SERIOUSLY FIERCE LINE-UP

The line-up for the night was definitely one of the most talked about of the season, bringing in a huge crowd of hardcore ravers right from the off. We headed to Amnesia early not to miss a second of dancing time, and it seems many were just as eager as us.

The Club Room definitely shook the concrete foundations of the bassline in Ibiza with some of the best drum and bass legends providing banging beats one final time.

My Nu Leng kicked things off as they do best: with bass heavy rumbles shaking the room. These guys really know how to set the energy high getting everyone to go crazy on the dance floor – and that's exactly what we did.

The lovechild of drum and bass masterminds Chase and Status, Together seriously rocked the Club Room one final time. Besides bringing back nostalgic drum and bass memories with their iconic tunes we all love, the duo also tore up the dance floor with new sounds and grime infused electronic beats.

Sigma joined the stellar line-up along with the very special guest of the evening Wilkinson. With a mix of euphoric tracks sending us into a frenzy, this set we hoped would never end.

Over in the Terrace garage icon DJ EZ headlined - this one never disappoints. A huge influencer in the dance music industry, he always brings a diverse selection of chart-topping remixes, old school smash hits and funky bassline drops. Nobody left the dance floor, not even for a bathroom break, as the number of top tunes just kept on coming.

Bringing in a house hungry crowd, Gordon City and Sonny Fodera went back to back for what was one of the stand-out b2b performances of the season.

Just as we thought it couldn't get better than this, UK chart-topper MK hit the decks and made my highlight of the season so far. It went off.

The packed dance floor of party-goers was not ready to go home yet, though, as Caal made sure we kept grooving right until the bitter end.

TOP TUNES

With a considerably more mainstream line-up, the sing-a-long chart toppers and summer smash hits will be familiar to most. Nonetheless, these tunes make for the best vibes and really bring everyone together.

ALIVE | Chase and Status ft. Jacob Banks

The perfect way to end an exhilarating set, this heart raising track saw all arms in the air and both old and newfound friends jumped together. The anticipating drop and soulful vocals truly made us feel alive.

SHUT UP | Stormzy (Sonny Fodera Edit)

The naughty bass drop for this track had everyone getting down and dirty as the rip-roaring beats brought out the best bass faces I've seen all season. Nice touch, Sonny.

SOUL SHAKE | My Nu Leng ft. Flava D

Not only did the bass on this track shake our socks off but also the flashing strobe lights in time with the tempo had us losing our minds. One of the many fierce bassline tracks from My Nu Leng, this one was definitely a banger.

Back & Forth | MK, Jonas Blue and Becky Hill (MK Dub)

Besides dropping all our favourite MK chart-toppers like My Head is a Jungle, Piece of Me and Seventeen, the king of the house remix did it again with this latest release - it went down a treat.

HAL | Kolsh and Tiga

The unique thumps at the beginning of this track sent goosebumps up and down my arms, as I instantly knew what was coming… MK, you are the man. My favourite track of the summer dropped by one of my favourite DJs - this was a moment.

RIP Groove | Double 99

DJ EZ played many old school UKG including this tune from Double 99. He pleased the crowd with classic sing-a-long tracks like Do You Really Like it and Gotta Get Thru This mixed with his technical skills then moving to bass tracks like DJ Zinc - and bam bam bam. A true decks wizard.

All Four Walls | Gordon City ft. Vaults

During the ultimate back-to-back bonanza, this pop house tune had everybody's phones in the air recording this dancefloor smash hit.

Rhythm is Rhythm | Strings of Life

Bringing the night to an end, Caal dropped this iconic Ibiza track – this tune always brings an almighty applause.

THE VIBE

Everybody raves about the closing parties and as an Ibiza virgin, I cannot begin to tell you how much this night exceeded my expectations. The vibe is truly electrifying and you can tell nobody wants the night, the season or the summer to come to an end.

Top-class performances from some of the worlds biggest dance floor dons are guaranteed, as are epic, euphoric, happy, magical and wild emotions, throughout the night.

I definitely needed a good night's sleep and a nice long bath to relax my danced-out feet after this night – although I'm sure many party-goers continued at the afterparty into the afternoon. The adrenaline would definitely have still been pumping. Stomping for seven hours straight has never been more exhilarating.

And that is that. Thank you Together, for being the residency certain to burn off all the calories from the ice-cream I've indulged this season. See you next year.
