Favourite Ibiza spots of ABODE resident DJs

The DJs of one of London's and Ibiza's favourite parties share their top spots on the island.

Constantly selling out monthly events in London, ABODE has grown quite the following here on Ibiza as well. Having taken up residence at Amnesia for its third season on the island, the party is an unstoppable force of house and techno, catering to lovers of techier beats.

ABODE's biggest trait is they curate line-ups with big-name DJs and a strong set of residents, keeping an inclusive feel and community feel. This summer is no different with the added benefit of a brand new backdrop at Amnesia.

Besides holding down Thursdays in the Terrace, the brand has branched out to other successful ventures. Their UK festival, ABODE In The Park takes place on Sunday 23 September with a massive line up of the best artists from the underground scene.

Meanwhile, some of the resident and guest DJs for this summer's Ibiza residency have talked to Ibiza Spotlight about their favourite spots on the White Isle. Check out what they have to say below.

GW Harrison - ATZARó

It's good to get away from the madness of the clubs and take time away to recharge. I always try to give myself at least one day at Atzaró to relax and eat good food. It not as expensive as first appears. You can go for the day without a stay in their hotel which includes a 3-course lunch and fresh juices made from their own fruit garden and use of the spa and pools. claim a day bed and just relax their service is amazing and the view and surrounding gardens are the hidden gem of the real traditional Ibiza.

GW Harrison plays on 2 and 16 August as well as 6 and 27 September.

Jimmy Switch - Sa Talaia

My favourite Ibiza spot is definitely the highest point. I find it the only place that is absolutely peaceful: no people or traffic so you can take everything in with no distractions. It's the only place you can see both sides of the island at the same time!

Jimmy Switch plays on 19 July, on 2 and 30 August and on 20 and 27 September.

Kai Cant - The Olive Tree, San antonio

So my favourite spot in Ibiza being a father has to be The Olive Tree restaurant in San Antonio on a Sunday for their famous roast dinner.

Having a child with autism and living in nightclubs, it's important that I can relax with some downtime somewhere with my family, where we feel at home surrounded by other British families once a week. The winter is especially great there as they put the log burner on and we can relax & have a few beers or 6...

Kai Cant is the founder of ABODE.

Will Taylor - Cala Codolar

My favourite Ibiza spot would have to be Cala Codolar - if you haven't been I highly recommend it. It's a beautiful, quiet and not very well-known beach at the end of a long dusty road that is only accessible by car, which makes it perfect for winding down time! My wife and I always take some lunch and beers or wine with us and just spend a few hours appreciating where we live and chill out together after the madness of Amnesia terrace every Thursday!

Will Taylor plays on Thursday 26 July, 9 and 16 August, as well as 13 September.

Ellie Cocks - Punta Galera

One of my favourite spots in Ibiza is Punta Galera together with Cala Saladeta. I like going for a little evening dip in the sea as I find it so nice and peaceful - especially because my job involves being in clubs and having late nights! I use it as my time to reflect. It humbles me massively and makes me realise how lucky I am to be out here doing what I love.

On the clubbing side of things, my favourite spot has to be Amnesia, which feels super special to be playing there every week! There are so many beautiful spots out here in Ibiza so this was a tough question, if I could, I would name loads!

Ellie Cocks plays 26 July, 2, 9 and 23 August plus 6 September.

ABODE takes over Amnesia's Terrace every Thursday until 27 September. If you like thundering tech beats played by some of the hottest DJs on the planet, this night is definitely for you.
