Huge global clubbing brand Cream provided insane electronic beats at the opening party extravaganza this Sunday. With some of the biggest names in dance music taking to the decks, it's no surprise the night was an incredible success.
Living up to its hugely popular reputation, one of the White Isle's most glamorous super-clubs Hï Ibiza packed in hundreds of eager party-goers kicking its summer residency off with an almighty bang.
The smashing line-up was worthy of EDM heaven. There was no stopping this night with opening sets from Australian duo NERVO getting the crowd jumping from the off. The beats built the anticipation higher and higher as the Theatre filled fast, oozing dizzying enthusiasm.
Oliver Heldens received a warm welcome as he took to the decks, serving up a tasty helping of dance electro tracks sure to get your head spinning including this classic from Da Hool - Meet He At The Love Parade. Here we go.
The laser show for this track flashed in sync with the beats, and we were in full-swing of the electronic party. Oliver Heldens mixed many incredibly popular chart-toppers with catchy lyrics everyone knew the words to. Of course, he added his EDM touch and jumping drops in true Cream style.
Some of the best tracks from his set included his remix of Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa's One Kiss and more and more of the DJ's own popular mixes including King of My Castle and the spaceship mash-up of Say My Name.
As the sea of blue and lilac ravers clambered onto each other's shoulders and sung along in unison it reminded me of the atmosphere at a festival.
After 22 years on the island, the move to Hï Ibiza offers a whole new clubbing experience with high-tech production, sound and ice-cannons truly blowing your socks off.
Taking care of the Club room, Jonas Blue kicked off his Cream residency with the familiar vocals of Tracey Chapmans 1988 single Fast Car, with his hugely popular tropical-house remix of the tune.
The English DJ, songwriter and producer was encouraging the crowd throughout. We were all compelled to sing along until losing our voices after a night of mainstream sing-along bangers we all love.
Back in the Theatre, the party just got even louder as EDM giant Afrojack pumped things up. Providing a variety of remixes from all genres, some unexpected hits made his set exciting and unpredictable.
Expect legendary old school tunes that never get old like Daft Punk's One More Time, Basement Jaxx's noughties banger Wheres Your Head At and Yeah Yeah Yeah's dance anthem Heads Will Roll. Awesome.
The electronic icon surprised us with hip-hop mash-ups over punchy dance beats.
Another popular track from his set was his collaborative remix with Hardwell of Rockstar by Post Malone.
Cream certainly loves an ice-cannon, so be ready for it to unexpectedly fire into the pit of jumping ravers. It certainly provides a short refreshing blast while clubbers bounce through the evening.
Acid green laser lights sliced through the crowd and the enormous speakers and mind-blowing sound system pumped out tunes so that rattled our chests.
The production was worthy of EDM royalty, perfect for a man who needs little introduction - Steve Angello.
As the night reached a peak, the global superstar kicked his set off the right way, pleasing the baying crowd with one of his most popular tunes, Knas.
It wouldn't be a true Cream party without big tunes from Avicci, receiving an extra special shout-out from the DJ and epic reception from the crowd. “This is a real special song so I want everybody's hand in the air, Ibiza all the way to the back!”
All hands shot in the air for this set as the fiesta continued into the night. We made some noise.
Cream Ibiza is a classic unmissable event for any dance music lover. Likely to leave you with sweet dreams and memories you won't forget, this party is the Cream of any Ibiza experience.

You will need a long steaming bath and a good sleep after this one, as Cream will have you off your feet all night.

Next week it's more Nervo, Oliver Heldens, Afrojack and Jonas Blue, this time with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Andy Mac and Jack Wins.
