Ibiza Gay Pride swinging back for 2018

Acceptance of diversity and the struggle for equality are this year’s theme.

Ibiza Gay Pride is back, loud and proud, from 13-16 June 2018. This fourth edition of the festival will feature as ever fun and flamboyant entertainment. This is a gay event after all!

As well as the fun things to do, the programme of activities is also centred on the themes of acceptance of diversity and the struggle for equality, with a motto of “let's change the world”.

Ibiza is known for being an accepting, free-spirited island and Ibiza Gay Pride has a great chance to shine its beacon of tolerance on the struggle for equal rights for many people around the world.


Antonio Balibrea, director of Ibiza Gay Pride and president of the Ibiza LGTBIQ Association states, "we want to launch this message so that together we can make diversity something normal in our lives."

A big parade, the Great March for LGTBIQ Rights takes place on 16 June departing from Ibiza Town's port area. Floats, music and many drag queens will make it a great event for the entire community

The Pride pre-party kicks things off on 9 June, with B12 hosting the club night. It's back to the same venue on 16 June for the Main Party of Ibiza Gay Pride, after the parade from 01:00 till late.

Official activities begin Wednesday 12 June, with festivities and the event opening taking place in the gay bars in Ibiza Town. Expect colourful drag queens, sexy boys and girls and DJs spinning until midnight.

As well as a series of artists participating, Lesbian artist La Rouge will exhibit her paintings that focus on women's fantasies in her show, Voyagine.

A gay cinema night featuring gay classic film To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar will set you up for a late prowl of Ibiza Town's gay bars with the theme of “sexy fetish nights”.
