With the summer fast approaching, plenty of ways to enjoy March on Ibiza spring up.

March is a time for change in Ibiza. Now, it's the end of winter and the cold weather is starting to diminish. What replaces it are sunny spring days and an island becoming alive with colour. With the new season just around the corner, there's a lot to do this month. Below you'll find some of the best events, parties and activities for this month - delve in and get involved!


Pinchos aplenty in San Antonio

The streets of San Antonio are ready for all you foodies with Pintxa 2018. Every Thursday night until 29 March, a host of restaurants invite you to try these delightful mini-dishes as well as tapas and larger dishes. With a range of flavours to try, this food event is the perfect way to sample authentic Spanish cuisine. With prices for a pinchos and drink starting from €2.50, it's a cheap night too. To experience all the food on offer, follow Spanish tradition and bar hop through 25 different eateries.


Hector Couto strides into B12

The Ibiza-based events company, Purity is set to bring heavy beats on 2 March. Booked for the evening is Spanish tech house chief and Roush label head, Hector Couto offering you an evening of tech sounds hosted at the B12 Club. Purity focuses on bringing a multi-sensory experience to Ibiza's electronic sound. In the past artists like Darius Syrossian, H.O.S.H and UNER have graced the Purity decks. A hot night not to be missed.


Spicing up Santa Gertrudis

SLUIZ is again hosting its brilliant enterprise on 18 March, the Ibiza Food Factory. You can enjoy a huge variety of food in the charming village of Santa Gertrudis. Over 20 restaurants come to present speciality dishes for you to sample and appease your appetite. As well as the culinary offerings, there will be lots of entertainment at this foodie gala. Fiesta time in San José

San José celebrates the day of its Patron Saint on 19 March. It is a very special occasion for the town and sees young and old venture out for the festival. To anyone who visits, it's a real Ibizan culture experience. The people of the town decorate their houses and there is a range of activities to experience. From traditional folk dances to theatre concerts, there's something for everyone to enjoy.


Electronic evenings

If you fancy chilled eclectic electronic music to enjoy early spring evenings then Pareidolia Music events are for you. On 24 March there is a special music event in the idyllic location of Hotel Gatzara in Santa Gertrudis. Emotive house is the flavour of the evening with main act, Modd. With support from Ibiza Sonica Radio, be prepared to be uplifted at this completely free event.


Spring arrives on Ibiza

Atzaró presents its Fiesta de la Primavera on 25 March, considered by many to be the unofficial start of the summer season. Starting at 12.00 and running until 02.00, there is plenty to do. The venue offers up live performances, art exhibitions and more for you to experience. Food stands give you a chance to excite your palate whilst relaxing in blissful surroundings. Suitable for all the family, there are children's activities to keep your little ones entertained as well.


Laughter travels from London to Ibiza

London comedy club, The Covent Garden Comedy Club is bringing laughs to Ibiza and setting up shop on Wednesday 28 March in the Pavilion, again at Atzaró. Barry Castagnola, who performed at the Club's first Ibiza event will be warming up the crowd as the master of ceremonies. Setting sail on the salt route

On 29 March participants of La Ruta de la Sal will sail into the port of San Antonio, for the biggest regatta in the Spanish sailing calendar. The event sees intrepid yacht and boat crews cross the Balearic sea and conclude their journeys in Ibiza. To celebrate the completion of these, the maritime clubs of Ibiza organise special events and activities, exhibits, stalls and live music. It's not just for lovers of yachts and boats!
