Big Room acts to see in Ibiza this weekend

Bringing in the big guns.

These big gunners have graced the world's biggest festival stages this summer, and penetrated Ibiza's bubble on a number of satiating dates. But we're soon to dip our toes into September and after this weekend, there are very few opportunities to catch these performers in action again in 2017.

This is a list for the clubbers who're after a big-arsed show with their music meat. It's about those bold productions, and the goosebump-inducing spectacle. We're taking it into Hï Ibiza, Amnesia and Ushuaïa to give you a taste of indoor intensity and outdoor festival heat.

Prepare for a good old ear bashing.

Sunday 27 August / Sander van Doorn / Blackout at Amnesia

Dutch veteran Doorn has been safeguarding a decade-long career in dance music. Two studio length albums, an onslaught of big room remixes, bucketloads of headlining gigs, over 400 episodes of his Iconic podcast series, and most recently, touring under his moniker Purple Haze.

Ibiza's already factored in big time. He's cornered the crowd at Hï for Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano's residency, been involved in Cream's carnage and tousled with one of Amnesia's newest residencies – Blackout. On Sunday he's back one last time with the Blackout crew, and he's be unleashing the beast alongside Brian Cross, Nicky Romero, W&W, Yves V and Javi Reina.

Sunday 27 August / Don Diablo / Hï Sundays at Hï Ibiza

Hï Sundays was the last residency to be thrown into the mix by new Ibiza superclub, Hï Ibiza. The Theatre is the domain of Swedish Steve Angello, Oliver Heldens, Afrojack and Hardwell, with the four EDM heads being on regular rotation.

If you've had one eye on the calendar and the other on Skyscanner, you might have clocked Dutch dynamo Diablo as a Hï Sundays regular. Dropping new track, MOMENTUM, in July and him jet-setting across Europe, he's had a stellar summer.

Sunday is the last opportunity to catch him on the island, and we'd urge you to snap it up.

Sunday 27 August / Lost Frequencies / Kygo at Ushuaïa Ibiza

The Belgian boss recently dished out his full Tomorrowland Mainstage set which was lapped up by over six thousand fans. Back in July, he reached one million Facebook friends and as a reward to his devotees, he gave away hit smash All Or Nothing away as a free download.

He's an international player who secured himself as a name to watch back in 2014, and he's been soaring ever since. Ibiza's had a healthy taste of what he's made of this summer with gigs for Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike's residency Garden Of Madness, Martin Garrix's self-titled weekly showdown, and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano's Hï Ibiza teardown.

This Sunday Kygo invites him in for a spin for his only appearance for the Norwegian's summer roast. While he's two more dates left in the calendar, if you're here for this weekend only, you know where to be.
