This evening Friday 18 November, the Gran Hotel Montesol in Ibiza Town will be the venue for a new monthly get together called Ibiza AfterWork, aimed at island residents old and new as well as visitors to the island, taking place from 18-23 h.
The new social event is expected to attract a big number of Ibiza's international resident community. It will also a great opportunity for tourists to unwind and relax after a long day sightseeing and get to know local island residents. The organisers, Elly and Beate will be running these events regularly in different locations each month as way to socialise in winter and provide a cool way of meeting new people.
The recently-reopened 5-star Gran Hotel Montesol on Vara de Rey, just 20 metres from the port, makes the perfect setting for the new meet-up, having been a central meeting point since it was first established on Ibiza in 1933. It was also the island's original tourist office and has had many famous guests, including Orson Welles and Pink Floyd.
The Ibiza AfterWork team have put on special drinks and food deals including a spcially created cocktail, devised by the Montesol's experienced mixologists and special €5 tapas and wine or beer combinations. Expect some great tunes from the hotel's resident DJ, who will be playing through the entire evening. The venue is also putting on a special menu for the event, with full details to be announced on the Ibiza AfterWork Facebook page.
