San Agustin celebrates its annual feast day

The sleepy Ibiza village of San Agustin lights up with 3 evenings of celebrations starting tonight!.

Today marks the celebration of Saint Augustine, the patron saint of the beautiful, ancient village of San Agustin, Ibiza.

To mark the occasion, the village comes alive with live music, activities and performances. It's all free and is the perfect time to discover this hidden gem of a village.

For those interested in the cultural and religious aspect of the celebrations, there's a mass at 7pm in the village church, followed by a procession in honour of Saint Augustine.

Later, from 9.30pm , the fun begins with a mixture of live music, performance and dancing beneath the stars courtesy of The Frigolos, Maika Makovski y Se Atormenta una Vecina. Tomorrow night the show starts once again at 9.30pm and is dedicated to comedy, with Ibiza's very own Comedy Club providing the laughs.

Finally Saturday night is party night, with live music provided from 10pm by Novedades Carminha, Swindigentes and Pulmon Beatbox.

It's a fab opportunity to check out some local talent and get an authentic taste of the Ibiza cultural scene. A typically lively Spanish celebration, you can expect a festival atmosphere and whole generations of families out enjoying the occasion.

San Agustin is easy to get to ladies and gents. Just jump on the bus to San José from San Antonio and get off at San Agustin. Alternatively, it's only about €10 in a taxi. Simplez!
