Payesa live and pinchos @ Sands Thursday June 5th

When Sands, part-owned by Carl Cox, decides to throw a party to celebrate and promote new Ibiza beer, Payesa, you know it's gonna be good!.

Following on from our recent article about brand-new, premium Ibiza beer, Payesa, we've got a lovely little update for those eager to get their lips around a bottle of the smooth, Ibicencan nectar.

Turns out that Sands, one of Spotlight's favourite beach bars on the island (due to sheer quality of everything) are throwing a party for their beery friends at Payesa. Why? Because they love it and want everyone to try it for themselves. Sounds like a perfectly legitimate reason for a party to us! And a perfect excuse to check out Sand's new venue a few metres further down that magical, golden stretch of sand that is Playa d'en Bossa.

This collaboration does have the Spotlight terriers pricking their ears up. Payesa must be very good indeed. The quality control at Sands is astounding, from cuisine to cocktails to quality of music, only the best will do. Just check out our glowing review of their restaurant. Faultless.

So if you're lucky enough to be on the island this week and fancy sampling Ibiza's latest, coolest beery creation, then the day for your diary is Thursday June 5th.

From 5pm, you will be treated not only to liberal ‘tastings' of Payesa premium beer, but also to a selection of special ‘pinchos' inspired by the drink's rich flavour. Add some live Flamenco, the glory of Ibiza's silky Balearic Sea and you may just think you've died and gone to heaven.
