Sports, music and Ibiza lovers, this one is most definitely for you. The weekend spanning Friday 6th until Sunday 8th June will see one of this summer's most unique events hit the island.
Located at the sports stadium in Can Misses on the outskirts of Ibiza Town, the weekend promises an energetic mixture of tournament rugby and music. Many teams from all over the world are planning to participate and the event is supported by a raft of famous rugby stars, such as the magnificent Tom Varndell pictured above and Christian Wade, Wasps and England star.
It's a knockout tournament and the matches will begin at 2pm each day, continuing through to the evening. Each team will get at least 2 matches and the final on Sunday finishes with that most Ibiza of institutions: yes, a massive party!
If you're not exactly sure what Rugby Tens is, have a read of this interview with organiser Abby Edwards. What you can be absolutely sure of is an absolutely cracking weekend of fun, games, bands, Djs and of course, those mythical Ibiza sunshine vibes.
Organised by RugbySpy, the 3 day sporting and music event also marks the return to Ibiza of those rocking 24 Hour party people, The Happy Mondays.
Manchester's undisputed party professionals will ‘Step On' to the stage on Sunday evening to headline the tournament's grand finale. Packed with celebrity fans, their last gig at Ibiza Rocks in 2012 was legendary, just check out our glowing review.
The event is in collaboration with Linekers Bar in San Antonio, owned by superstar football celebrity Gary Lineker's brother, Wayne.
