Healing Ibiza 2014 is set to be somewhat different from the previous years' celebrations. An immensely popular and, for the last three years, very much anticipated date on the Ibiza calendar, the organisers have decided to extend it to a two-day event, due to take place on the 11th and 12th May at Atzaro Hotel and Spa.
This year's theme is "it's all about Love" which is certainly what Healing Ibiza epitomises. With a team of over one hundred volunteers co-operating together to produce an event that has, since its inception, raised in excess of €35,000 for non-profit organisations on Ibiza, Healing Ibiza really is an "inspiration for extraordinary living".
On 11th May, as previously, Healing Ibiza will feature a wide range of therapies, oracle readings, speakers, workshops, a Yoga area, Children's area and a Meditation Zone which will be hosted this year by the world-famous David Lynch Foundation. The idea is that people can attend drop-in sessions throughout this first day, and then sign up for half-day workshops - which will take place on the 12th May - in any areas that particularly interest them.
Other new features for Healing Ibiza 2014 include a Shamanic area in a special tipi, and a full musical concert on the Sunday evening.
Healing Ibiza continues to be a free event, but donations are, of course, very much welcomed. This year, funds are being raised for APNEEF - The Association for People with Special Needs on Ibiza and Formentera, which is a non-profit organisation supporting the development of boys and girls with special educational needs.
