If you've ever puffed and panted your way up the winding streets and tunnels to get to the old town's castle and ever wondered why there wasn't an easier way then you'll be pleased to hear our latest news.
The proposed project for the new Parador will now include a lift which will carry passengers from a new underground car park at the foot of the castle all the way to the top.
Engineers have inspected the site which will house 80 cars and declared that the construction of a lift will be 'very easy.' A tunnel will link the car park to the lift shafts from where people will be whisked vertically to the luxury hotel with awe-inspiring views of the sea and city.
What a great idea, and one which will be especially welcome to disabled people who use wheelchairs.
