Little Mohamed El Halilli made an unscheduled appearance on board the good ship Isla de Ibiza ten minutes after it had set sail from Denia to Ibiza this week!
Mohamed's heavily pregnant mum had boarded the ferry with her husband and two other children and went into labour a few minutes after leaving port.
The captain immediately turned the ship round and made the announcement 'is there a doctor in the house?' Luckily there was, and a nurse, who supervised the birth of the child (accompanied by a massive cheer from all the other passengers) before they reached Denia again.
Both mother and baby, who weighed 4.8 kilos, are doing well.
