Re-Opening of the Ibiza Museum of Contemporary Art (M.A.C.E.)

In 1727 Simon Poulet designed the building as armory, military storehouse & stables. Work began in 2007 to enlarge the premises. This has added 1,200 square meters of space to the original 800. 5 years later, the MACE re-opens with an exhibition of two world class artists: the painter Miquel Barceló & the British sculptor Barry Flanagan.
