It is only a two- to three-hour flight from most European airports to Ibiza and in the summer season from Easter till the end of October many flight companies offer direct flights to the Mediterranean island. Search with your favourite flight search engine to find the best option for your flight to Ibiza.
Visitors also fly in from all over the world to visit Ibiza, for its clubbing and its beauty. Connecting flights to Ibiza often go via Madrid or Barcelona and in the summer season also via other European cities like London, Amsterdam or Paris.
During the winter season from November till Easter there are only few direct flights from European airports to Ibiza, for example, British Airways from London City Airport, Vueling from Paris, Eurowings from Dusseldorf in Germany and Transavia from Amsterdam and Eindhoven in the Netherlands; otherwise you have to change flights normally in Mallorca, Barcelona or Madrid. There are direct flights also to other Spanish airports, for example, Valencia and Malaga.
The airport of Ibiza is operated by the company Aena, a state-owned enterprise operating most airports in Spain. On the Aena website there is lots of information, for example, which airlines operate direct flights to Ibiza from which destinations, timetables and routes for buses and which shops and restaurants you'll find in the terminal.
To get to your hotel or other destination you can hire a car: most car hire companies offer pick up and return at the airport of Ibiza.
Outside of the terminal there is a taxi rank, but in high season in July and August there are not enough taxis on Ibiza and often you have to wait for quite a while. Here you'll find taxi fares.
The easiest way to get from the airport to your hotel or holiday villa is a private airport transfer, only for you and your family or friends or a shared shuttle.
