A welcoming country restaurant close to Cala San Vicente, in the north of the island off the tourist trail serving authentic Thai food. This family-owned restaurant has for almost 100 years been the social epicentre of the charming village of San Vicente.

Before becoming a restaurant Es Cafè had many functions since it was first built being both post office, doctor's surgery and hub for the local villagers

Es Cafè started life as a charming Ibizan country house, today, it retains that charm and serves as a welcome oasis for authentic Thai food. Popular amongst locals and visitors alike, the establishment prides itself on having dishes that transport you to Thailand without having to leave the island.

Most of the Thai classics are offered, with starters like Tod Man Kung shrimp cakes and Thai spring rolls. The menu has a good choice of soups too such as the traditional soup Tod Mun and the coconut milk-based Masaman Thai Kai.

The mains are a mix of noodles, vegetarian dishes, and meat and fish dishes. Staples like Pad Thai come with a choice of meat or can be vegetarian - all can be customised to taste and spice levels. Grilled cod and sea bream come filleted or whole and there's a nice mix of Thai curries on offer too.

Es Cafè is good for groups or parties, families and offers outdoor and indoor seating as well as a safe exterior play area for kids. Take-away dishes are also available.
