Ibiza Spotlight - Newsletter no. 143
Welcome back to Ibiza Spotlight News! Announcement season is in full swing, so it's another clubbing special.
You know we’re inching closer to summer when we start to discuss the International Music Summit (IMS). The music conference’s season curtain-raiser Dalt Vila Grand Finale will feature Jamie Jones, The Blessed Madonna, Joy Orbison, Overmono and more. This spectacular outdoor event takes place once a year at the stunning UNESCO World Heritage Sight.
International masked man of mystery, Claptone is back at Pacha, as The Masquerade moves to the coveted Saturday night slot. Another whopper saw FISHER installed as the Wednesday night host at Hï Ibiza.
In San Antonio, Eden continues to offer diversity across its weekly programme, announcing the return of Trance bastion SHINE and new arrival Louder, heralding Drum & Bass Mondays in 2022.
It’s also been a big week of revelations away from the traditional clubbing centres. Akasha, the new club space at Las Dalias in the north of the island, released its spring plans. Online tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights are available exclusively through Ibiza Spotlight.
In another Spotlight exclusive, it was revealed San Antonio Bay is getting a new nightspot. OUT Ibiza will be unveiled in April - find out how you can get on the guestlist for the opening party.
Away from the madness of clubland, ferry operator Aquabus has upgraded its fleet with two new high-speed vessels, halving travel time to Formentera. The result? More time to spend on our gorgeous, unspoilt sister-island. Positively laid back.
We’ll be back in a couple of weeks with more news. Stay tuned!
