As already mentioned in our Ibiza New Year's Eve feature, Sankeys Ibiza opens one more time this year before going into hibernation. The Manchester clubbing institution held some of the most exciting nights this past summer with Dyinamic Neon Nights, Viva and Carnival. Plus, with Solomun as their Tuesday night resident, Sankeys was home to the hottest artist of the season. Solomun isn't on the island though over New Year's, he's actually busy with a double gig in Manchester (in Sankeys, of course) and plays in Amsterdam on NYE, check out our latest interview with him.
The Ibiza franchise of Sankeys will be hosted by the U Wanna Escape? crew on New Year's Eve, with the Basement headlined by long-time Cocoon comrade Tobi Neumann. Alongside him, Cadenza artist Alex Picone and island ressies Luis Groove, Bones and Jonathan Tena shall be gracing the decks.
Over in the Spektrum, old school tunes are guaranteed - History of Music of Ibiza hosts the second room and Alfredo, SolDado, Reche and Nano Vergel are bound to bring their vinyl along.
