Today was a blowy one in the islands that make up the Pitiuses, thus delighting the crew of the Cristabella who won the 42 mile coastal sprint round the island of Formentera at the Breitling MedCup TP52 event.
There's two days of racing left at the conclusion of which hundreds of tipsy yachties and their supporters will fan out across Ibiza, an island that has long been hospitable to nautical voyagers.
"Sportslifestyle" clothing brand Puma's fashion show at El Hotel in Ibiza Town would be a logical choice for thirsty sailors. The venue's sleek lines, its proximity to Ibiza Town's harbour and Puma's theme of extreme weather plus ropes would all appeal to those aboard the Mutua Madrileña, Warpath, Pinta, Stay Calm Santa Ana and their competition.
Fans of Pacha's girls will also be in attendance at the event presented in association with the Puma Store on Calle Bartome Vincente Ramon in Ibiza Town.

Entertainment options following include Def Mix across the road at Pacha with Satoshi Tomeii, Hector Romero, Graham Sahara and the Hip Hop Institute in the Global Room where Dj Jekey and Mucho Muchacho will add the Spanish flavour. Also Hed Kandi with John Jones, Phil Faversham, Rob Wilder and Laura on saxophone will be throwing their last party of 2006 at the seaside El Divino.
In the middle of the island will appear the time and space vortex that is Amnesia's closing party. Enter and be ejected in bits sometime Sunday. Local media have already targeted the gig as a potential source of traffic trouble so it'll probably be pretty full on.
