Of course, put enough people from the music business in one place for any period of time and a party will result.
High-end Chinois Ibiza hosts night one of this year's conference in 2025 - a place to mingle, let loose and release some energy after being holed-up in a press room all day.
While we'll surely be leaving plenty in the locker for the next two days of networking and engagement, not to mention IMS Grand Finale in Dalt Vila on Friday evening, this is a nice extra to dust away the cobwebs and ease everybody back into a full-on Ibiza summer. Those dancing shoes have been neglected for too long.
This year the IMS Opening Party is presided over by TRIP & Collisions. The line up is made up of Ricardo Villalobos, Craig Richards and Bobby.
IMS Opening Party takes place on Wednesday 23 April - the night of day one of the conference.
