Last chance to vote in 2016's DJ Awards

The final countdown begins here.

For the clubbing ladies and gentlemen who verbalise their affection for their favourite masters of the booth, we're entering the crucial period of getting the votes in for the DJ Awards.

Voting for the 19th edition kicked off at the start of June and lovers of electronic fodder have been the judges to elect their champions from 111 nominees across 12 categories. Bass, Deep house, techno, trance are represented by the likes of Andy C, Black Coffee, Nicole Moudaber and Paul van Dyk. Electronic Live Performer and House are the two new categories added in with KiNK and Sidney Charles respectively up for the box tick.

Winners will be announced at the ceremony in Pacha Ibiza on Monday 3 October, where they will receive the prestigious Kryptonite award modelled on the famous Ibiza landmark, Es Vedrà. 'Let's Dance' is this year's theme because who doesn't believe in the philosophy that “Life may not always be the party we hoped for, but while we're here let's dance!"

Voting figures have already beaten previous years and we've got just over one week to go until the curtain comes down at midnight (CET time) on Sunday 7 August. So, it's down to you guys - get your votes in if you want your personal hero stood with that infamous green award.
