Simon Dunmore, Basement Jaxx, Todd Terry and DJ Pippi were some of the confirmed names thrown at you in January to give you a hint of the summer that the Glitterbox gang are preparing at Space. Nearly one month on, we've got more than hints and teasers, as we now have the full blown Terrace line-up all ready and waiting to be ravaged.
The sequin-tastic mob return to their Friday slot from 3rd June to 23rd September with an exhaustive list of the finest house and disco DJs. Adding to the names above, we also have Kenny Dope, Dimitri From Paris, Roger Sanchez, Joey Negro, Purple Disco Machine, The Shapeshifters, John Morales, Nightmares On Wax, Norman Jay, DJ Spen, Horse Meat Disco, Crazy P (DJ set), David Morales, and Heller & Farley.
Glitterbox left 2015 dizzy on the universal love; clubbers and reviewers (including us) were falling over ourselves to laud it with praise. It feeds its crowds a unique fusion of classic and contemporary dance music, and while the music is paramount, it chucks in something extra with eye-grabbing theming, gorgeous and attitude packed dancers and of course, those huge, mirrored disco balls do great things for the party psyche.
Line-ups for Space's El Salon – including island residents DJ Pippi, DJ Antz and Mo'funk – along with further DJs and live PAs will be announced over the coming weeks.
