People who know Ibiza pretty well, always suggest that it is necessary to enjoy the island in all its aspects: rocky coasts, pure fresh air, pristine waters, an abundance of sunny days, amazing sunsets and, of course, quality music and good parties. The problem? Most of you who come for a few days, normally don't have the time to proper enjoy all the things our white isle has to offer. The local guys from Beautiful People have found a solution to this problem: a boat party that brings together all these activities providing a whole and authentic Ibiza experience on board. Are you ready kids? "Aye Aye Captain."
As you know, the Spotlight Team always want to taste things before we give you all the details, so yesterday, on what seemed by far the hottest day since my arrival in Ibiza, I put my bikini on to spend the whole day on the cool boat. At 2:30 pm we were already on board prepared to start sailing, settled into the two levels and relaxing with the free drinks and the first snacks of the afternoon. It was the perfect time to meet the rest of the crew as at the same time we said goodbye to the Figueretas beach, changing the view for a far bluer one. But the chilling didn't last too long because the master of ceremonies - and very nice captiain who spent the day taking care of us - announced it was time for water sports. Obviously, I ran to the line to try the jet ski (hot driver included) and the funny Spin Jet as the same time the DJs kicked things off with some summery sounding house tracks.
Just like we were back at school, lunch time was announced. A varied buffet was waiting for us to give us some energy with different options of Mediterranean food, suitable for vegetarians, besides the free bar with all kind of drinks; a proper Spanish meal. After a 30-minute siesta in one of the VIP beds the boat offers on the top (hey, don't judge me… seven-hour party on a boat, I needed a break) I was ready again to dance, chant and enjoy the amazing music the DJs were playing, with a set that became harder over the course of the day.
By the time the clock struck 6pm, we had docked at Formentera port. Beautiful People boat party is the only one that offers an excursion to the amazing beaches of this little island, so we could enjoy for two hours the white sands and the turquoise waters that makes Formentera so famous, besides doing some snorkel and other activities with the crew that had become like a 150-strong group of friends after spending that much time together. What a lovely time!
But we needed to come back to Ibiza again, so, after another yummy snack (PIZZA!!) we went on board to finish the party. More drinks, some champagne showers, the Music Is the Answer track and a pinky sunset to say goodbye to the experience, dancing, just as we should be.
