Flavours of the 80s, British rap, and latin electro will be served up to revelers in generous platefuls as the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza announces a ménage a trois of weekly parties for the season ahead.
Boney M will be showing the love at the Hard Rock Hotel with the opening of its Sunday parties which are ready to lure you back into a decade famed for big perms and bold neons. Children of the 80s kicks off on the 28th of June and joining the Daddy Cool chart toppers will be Corona, Alexia and Robin S. An 80s party wouldn't be complete without a heavy display of shoulder pads, leg warmers, skin-tight acid washed jeans and jumpsuits – now most of you won't need any encouragement, but free entry for fashioning 80s clobber is a no brainer. The 12 week 80s marathon brings a host of big names from Culture Club, Soul II Soul, Bananarama with a heavy dosage of dance from 2 Unlimited, Haddaway, Snap and the pop group that has been on its way here for about a decade - Vengaboys.
With proof of ID, Ibiza residents will also be granted free entry for this party, which runs from the 28th of June until the 13th of September.
Tinie Tempah is returning to the Balearics to bring back the noise with a heavy dosage of hip hop, pop and grime. Off the back of a blow-out performance last year, he returns with the Disturbing Ibiza pool party which will be taking over Playa d'en Bossa this summer every Tuesday from 1pm until 7pm. Big splashes will be mandatory as the action gets underway on Tuesday 30th June and will surge straight through until Tuesday 8th September. Joining the aquatic madness will be a host of DJs and one up and coming UK artist every week – be sure to stay tuned for more announcements.
With Sundays and Tuesdays taken care of, Thursday evenings will bring a feast of latin infused electro house with Jaun Magan at the command. The Spanish extraordinaire is a big name in Latin house, cutting his skills with producing, remixing and DJing. His rep has seen him with the likes of chart toping international stars Pitbull, Bob Sinclair and Nelly Furtado. If you're not yet familiar with this native Spaniard's repertoire, that's three very big reasons to get down to the Ibiza Rocks Hotel to see for yourself why the stars are clamoring for a slice of his skills. His finesse behind the decks will be flexed from the 25th of June until the 10th of September.
A triple whammy of goods waiting to exercise your senses.
