Suara at Sankeys

The kitten is back in Ibiza.

Last year Coyu brought his Barcelona based label Suara to Ibiza to throw a few purrfect techno parties. Following a successful first run on the island, Suara is back, making a move to Sankeys, as its previous home Booom closed its doors for the last time. The house and techno label will front every Friday night at The LAB from June 26th up till September 25th. While Doorly and the SHELTER crew take care of the basement next door.

Coyu's name crops up plenty of times on the line-up poster of course, beneath a cat, the animal figure for the label. During the evenings he'll be joined by a load of artists rightfully at the forefront of the dance music scene internationally, including UMEK, Jay Lumen, Carlo Lio, Pleasurekraft, Dosem, Sonny Fodera, Edu Imbernon and Bontan. Lee Curtiss and Teenage Mutants will play alongside Coyu at the all-important opening party next month. September 18th is also looking like a special date as Coyu goes B2B with Toolroom Records boss Mark Knight.

Coyu on the fast approaching residency says it's an honour to bring Suara to Sankeys... “We had a dream first season last year, better than I ever imagined, but it was a learning curve. It will definitely help us provide a more rounded and better quality product this year.” The mission is to, “make sure all our kitties who attend leave smiling ear to ear.”
