There's a DJ that's been pretty big on Ibiza for a few years now, you might have heard of him - Solomun? He's had massive seasons at Sankeys in Playa d'en Bossa and now at Pacha in Ibiza Town. Well known for putting out quality 80s inspired tracks that helped inspire a musical revolution on the island. Always asks for a 'plus 1' at his parties. Anyway, things are getting even bigger for him this year. Read on.
The party is going to be taken outdoors for 2014, for a series of parties at the luxury off-shoot of the Pacha brand - Destino, on Thursdays - 17th and 24th July, 21st August and 4th and 18th September. Solomun and his label team - Diynamic - will take over the iconic cliffside venue for some more much needed daytime clubbing options on Ibiza. The direction of parties have steadily been going this way for a few seasons now and rightly so more people have realised the potential of the beautiful outdoor venue, located in Talamanca, a short ride from Pacha.
Now, for the details. To make getting to the venue as easy as possible, Destino has laid on buses from 7pm running from the following places;
Playa d'en Bossa: opposite Tantra Bar and in front of Hotel Algarb.
Figueretas: opposite Coolture Café.
Ibiza Town: opposite McDonalds in the port and on the parking in front of Pacha.
San Antonio: bus station.
Line-ups for those joining Solomun have yet to be announced, but we expect these soon, although the opening is set to feature label friends H.O.S.H. and Adriatique. Tickets are priced at only 25€ and include one free drink, however you must be in by 8pm. No complaints there.
