Ibiza Spotlight has been knocking about Ibiza for a while now. We began as a printed guide back in the heady days of 1976, and became the online website you recognise today in '99. This year we celebrate 15 years online the only way any self-respecting Ibiza company can celebrate – with a party!
The Spotlight clubbing team spends an awful lot of time attending and enjoying the many parties Ibiza has to offer… so we thought it was about time to throw a few of our own. For four special dates over this summer, Safehouse management has offered up Spotlight's favourite hidden gem within the labyrinth of rooms that is Space Ibiza – El Salon.
Ibiza Spotlight will be curating the music of El Salon for three We Love… parties (29th June, 27th July and 7th September) plus one Carl Cox party (19th August). We've called in a varied selection of artists, with each night a slightly different theme. These are the DJs and music companies that keep the island rolling, and we're proud to have them on board.
In addition to the Ibiza favourites we've enlisted to headline El Salon, each warm-up slot will be filled by one of our four excellent competition winners, who waded through a several-thousand-strong sea of talented emerging DJs and surfaced on top, earning them three nights stay in Ibiza and two special DJ sets at our Space take-overs and Float Your Boat parties. Sunday 29th of June | Ibiza Spotlight presents Island Heroes (We Love)
A homage to the resident DJs who call Ibiza their home and have provided the soundtrack to countless parties of every kind across the island. These guys maintain the eclecticism in the music of Ibiza and know and love the island better than most. We salute you!

Sunday 27th of July | Ibiza Spotlight 15 Years Online | House & Disco Classics Session (We Love)
Some of our favourite moments in Space have been spilling drinks in front of the El Salon DJ booth whilst busting moves to the funkiest house and disco classics around. Tonight two more island residents will dig deep into their classics collection. BYO white flares.

Tuesday 19th of August | Ibiza Spotlight presents IBZ Entertainment Showcase (Carl Cox)
In keeping with the rest of Space on a Tuesday, this one will have a more underground tech-house musical direction than the others. Danny Whittle and Mark Netto will present the full spectrum of their IBZ Entertainment artist roster with back-to-back sets from representatives from all over the island, up-and-coming DJs like Manu Gonzales plus a live PA. It's going to be quite the production!

Sunday 7th of September | Ibiza Spotlight presents Music for Dreams (We Love)
We're seriously excited to see what Danish music master Kenneth Bager brings to El Salon for his Music for Dreams label takeover. Bager's style is eclectic, unusual and always heaps of fun. Expect to discover some musical gems!

As always at El Salon, you should never take having a good time too seriously and we don't intend to. Come down and have a laugh with the Spotlight team to some great music - we'll be dishing out free hierbas chupitos all evening. Apparently there'll be some sort of massive We Love and Carl Cox parties going on in the other rooms, but don't let that trouble you - set yourself on a rotating trajectory between El Salon dance floor and the bar and you can't miss us.
