Sankeys has announced that Audiofly's party Flying Circus shall be returning to the club every Friday for its second year in Ibiza.
The season begins for Flying Circus at the opening party on the 11th of July and features a solid line-up in the form of residents Audiofly, Circus Company regular Robag Wruhme, Daniel Bortz and mulletover resident Geddes. We assure you, this will be a big night out.
Flying Circus had originally begun its story as an independent party touring all over the world. Having gained plenty of recognition for providing great music and innovative, unique line-ups, Flying Circus embarked on their first season as hosts for Sankeys Friday parties last year and we are more than happy to see them return.
Those of you who, like us, are big fans of Martin Buttrich will be pleased to hear that he will be playing four live shows at Flying Circus across the season at Sankeys this year, so make sure you don't miss him! Other season highlights will include sets from DJ Tennis, M.A.N.D.Y., Anja Schneider and Fur Coat, with so many more interesting artists on the bill. Sankeys owner David Vincent has achieved the unimaginable by replicating the underground, industrial atmosphere of Manchester's Sankeys club (which was previously a soap factory), in a purpose built venue in the Balearic Islands. The club has gained a reputation in the past few years as a ‘home away from home' for many British workers and tourists who enjoy spending their nights at home watching big name DJs in an atmospheric, dark and underground space. It is no wonder therefore, that Sankeys match the ambience of the club with the style of the music they bring to the island and Flying Circus fits in perfectly with that ethos.
The closing party for Flying Circus is set to be a massive night in the Ibiza calendar, not only featuring the talents of Audiofly and Martin Buttrich's final live performance of the season, but also featuring a DJ set from Get Physical duo Philipp Jung and Patrick Bodmer of ‘M.A.N.D.Y', Blond:ish and another live show courtesy of Dance Spirit, an American act that we cannot wait to see play in the world famous basement this year.
Tigre Music will be hosting Spektrum every week at Flying Circus and will feature residents Oliver Walker, Mia Lucci and Deep City Soul, whose name perfectly reflects the style of music that they produce and play out. You won't want to miss these guys so make sure you head to the new and improved Spektrum at Sankeys!
Standard Tickets are priced at €35 for every night, VIP tables are from €440 for two people - This is going to be a party to remember.
