Amante opening party, 11th May

Making a return to one of the most stunning venue locations on Ibiza.

The overwhelming feeling at Amante Beach Club is that of splendid isolation – in the sentimental sense, that is, as opposed to xenophobic political policy. When you're standing amidst the sparkling lights, booming beats and clinking glasses of Amante opening party, looking out across an empty Sol d'en Serra cove, it feels as though the tiny cliff-side gathering is a whole other world away from civilisation.

Amante's annual opening event was as busy as ever, with island favourites like John Sa Trinxa, Antz and Nightmares on Wax soundtracking the sunset whilst cars, buses, scooters and pedestrians crawled their way up the winding road to Sol d'en Serra cove. It was a fantastic event with a beautifully dressed, friendly crowd stomping out a beat in the soft sand underfoot. Amante has to have one of the most magical locations on an island full of such places, and although last night it was dedicated to revelry, throughout the summer Amante is a place for relaxed dining, cocktails, outdoor cinema, yoga and of course tying the life-long knot.
