Pacha 2014: First Nights Confirmed

The first five nights confirmed for Pacha this season.

Pacha have confirmed five of their nights for the 2014 season and they form the mainstay of of their weekly programme - the big, sure-fire hitters that are guaranteed to bring in the punters week in, week out. Some are old friends who have been working with Pacha for years, some are fresh faced with only one season under their belts, details below.

Insane | 23rd May - 3rd October

This is one of the aforementioned new nights of the 2013 season. Holding the highly coveted Friday night slot at the club. Last year saw some quality nights of music provided by the likes of a Sneak, Carter, Farina B2B2B session, John Digweed and Fritz Kalkbrenner with his live performances as 2013 residents. So, you can understand the breadth of talent on offer and we're sure we won't be disappointed this season.

Starting on the 23rd May and continuing weekly until the 3rd October, the lineup has yet to be announced. Expect minimal decorations, but extensive musical exploration.

Pure Pacha | 24th May - 4th October

As you can see from the photo at the top of the page, Pure Pacha draws the crowds for every party. Holding the Saturday slot the crowd is more cosmopolitan than many of the parties on the island as locals enjoying their weekend mix up with tourists for whom every night is a Saturday anyway.

Musically, the punters go nuts to massive crowd favourites like Bob Sinclair, Martin Solveig, Armand Van Helden, Hard Rock Sofa, Sebastien Drums and other high energy DJs. Expect much of the same in 2014, but we'll update the lineups as soon as we have the details.

The party will run every Saturday from the 24th May until the closing on 4th October.

Solomun +1 | 25th May - 5th October

In the big Pacha shakeup of 2013 Luciano and his Cadenza Vagabundos party parted ways with the Sunday spot at the club and in their place came the big star of 2012 at Sankeys - Solomun, but this time without his Dynamic label.

The idea of the Solomun +1 concept was for Solomun to only bring one guest to play a set and then back-to-back with him on the night. The music varied hugely, which was great, but past guests included Âme, Dennis Ferrer, Miss Kittin, Tensnake, and Marek Hemmann.

Solomun will be back in his purpose built central DJ booth from Sunday 25th May until 5th October. 20 Sundays in total.

F*** Me I'm Famous | 29th May - 2nd October

As we say on our promoter page, via the link, FMIF is 'the David Guetta véhicule with the saucy name causing gridlock outside and inside Pacha every night of its Thursday residency.'

David and his wife, Cathy, have been a solid team at the helm of FMIF since the mid 90s and haven't looked back since. The dancefloor will be rammed. The corridors with be rammed. The bits inbetween the corridors and the dancefloors will be rammed. The bars will be rammed. Everywhere will be rammed. But you can bet your last 50 Euro note every single person inside will be going mental for the overtly sexual husband and wife from start to finish.

Past guests have included Nicky Romero, Diplo, Zedd, Arty, Daddy's Groove and Arno Cost, with details on the 2014 lineup as yet unannounced. The party runs from the 29th May until 2nd October.

Flower Power | 3rd June - 23rd September

Until last year, Flower Power had existed as some kind of mythical beast that showed its face three, maybe four, times over the course of the season. In 2013 that all changed and the party moved to a Tuesday night weekly residency at the club and consequently the secret was out - this was one of, if not the, coolest parties on the island.

Every Tuesday Ibiza Town is transformed into a vision of Ibiza of the 60s - think flowers, lots of power, hippy vibes, peace, love of uber unity - and the theme is taken through to every inch of the club. Ibiza legend DJ Piti plays all night long (baby) surrounded by barely clothed hippy lovelies and dudes on chopper motorbikes cruising across the dancefloor. Get involved, dress up and do all the things the era was loved for.

With no lineup to announce, we can just reveal the dates. Tuesday 4th June until 1st October making a total of 18 parties. Far out, man.
