So, if you didn't already know, Ibiza's newest (well most recently renovoated anyway) club - Bomba - has been delayed with its opening as works continues to go on. We're looking at an end of July date for opening, and so all of the events planned in to take place there have either been put back a few weeks, or moved to alternative venues for the short term.
The newly improved Defected label is one of those parties that took the leap away from Pacha to join Bomb on their new project, and continue to remain commited to this. However over the last few weeks they have held parties in Savannah's back room, as well as the launch of their new concept party at Ushuaïa Towers - DFTD - which opened on Monday 10th June.
For the next two events, Defected has shifted its presence back to the other side of the island, and inside Sankeys fantastic new space - the LAB. They will run two parties over June, on the 15th June with Derrick Carter, Eats Everything and Maxxi Soundsystem, whilst the party on 22nd June consists of Dennis Ferrer, Lil Louis, Sonny Fodera and Frank Rizardo.
The parties will be run alongside Sankeys current Saturday night party Carnival, with Culprit hosting the rest of the club on the 15th, featuring Droog, Fur Coat, jozif, Bones, East End Dubs, Deniz Bilgic, Jiggy, and Underground hosting on the 22nd with Finnebassen, Him_self_Her, Jobe, Bones, Chad Andrew, Jiggy b2b Kan.e and Deniz Bilgic.
Making the best out of the delayed Bomba situation we have held three successful workers' parties at Savannah in San Antonio. Now this collaboration with Sankeys Ibiza over the next two weekends is a perfect opportunity to continue the party and allow more people to experience Defected In The House in Ibiza.
