The hottest, busiest month of the year is upon us. The month when there are more people on Ibiza than any other time and the one when there are more fiestas and entertainment than any other.
We've featured news items about the Earth Festival in Ibiza town and the spectacularly fabulous fireworks display on August 8th to celebrate the town's patron saint, Sant Ciriac's day.
In a similar vein, San Antonio celebrates San Bartolome's day on August 24th with a gigantic fireworks fest at midnight, and this being Spain, entertainment, live bands and all round feasting for some time before, and after, the main day.
Fans of gleaming mean machines of the two wheeled variety will be overjoyed to hear that Ibiza Bike Week takes place from August 6th to 10th when some fine examples of curvy bodywork glide into town for fun, games and general cruising in the sunshine.
At the end of the month (23rd to 27th) the annual Ibiza Jazz Festival takes place on the battlements of the old town. The full programme hasn't been announced yet, so keep an eye on our news section for the details nearer the time.
As always, we have a full agenda of clubbing and other events in our Clubbing calendar and Events calendar.
