Staff picks | Lissy's top five parties of Ibiza 2024

Our roving club reporter picks her highlights from the summer that was.

Each week, I had the pleasure of attending numerous parties on behalf of the clubbing team. Only now, as I reflect on the season that's just ended, can I really take the time to appreciate the ones that stood out from the rest.

These five parties will remain in my memories forever.

KEINEMUSIK | Pacha | Sunday 19 May

Not only a highlight of May, but the whole summer, the KEINEMUSIK crew returned to Pacha for the trio's first island appearance of 2024. This time, a red kloud hung over them in the booth and the dancefloor was even more full than last year - if that were even possible!

They say a sign of a good night is when you come back with no photos or videos, and this night proved that for me. I've seen enough footage on TikTok since to relive it for a lifetime! &Me, Adam Port and Rampa hailed in summer with their viral edits and meticulous productions.

Amnesia Presents

Sonny Fodera B2B MK | Amnesia Presents | Amnesia | Monday 15 July

Bringing back their 2022 format of weekly special guests, Sonny Fodera and Danny Howard smashed it out the park with their weekly Amnesia Presents residency this year. Acts such as Oden & Fatzo, LF System and Jazzy have already joined them on The Terrace this summer.

A particular clubbing highlight from July, saw MK rock up for an impromptu back-to-back with Sonny for the last three hours. I guess if you're as big as MK, you can do whatever you want! That's some pretty epic stuff right there.

Rossi. presents HOME//GRXWN | 528 Ibiza

Rossi. presents HOME//GRXWN | 528 Ibiza | Sunday 8 September

Firstly, who doesn't love a daytime rave? Secondly, who doesn't love an after party? At the start of September, one of my favourite DJs and producers Rossi. took to 528 Ibiza's Amphitheatre stage to throw his first ever HOME//GRXWN party on Ibiza.

From dancing the night away under the sun to the stars, and then to a private after party in a hidden spot in Playa d'en Bossa afterwards, Rossi., Locklead and Josh Baker all went back-to-back until 05:00, playing to an intimate crowd of around 100 people.

At 528, a perfectly curated line-up of Minimal and Tech House's finest had the crowd fist pumping until close, making this party one of my highlights of the summer. Also, if you haven't partied at 528 this summer, you need to put it firmly on your agenda for 2025.

Michael Bibi presents One Life | Ushuaïa

Michael Bibi | One Life | Ushuaïa | Friday

Micheal Bibi coming to the clubbing capital of the world to present his One Life spectacle at Ushuaïa last month was truly a sight to behold.

From the mind-blowing production and heartfelt visuals, to unexpected performances from his father and even a brass ensemble to accompany his set, the night was filled with incredible moments from start to finish.

The healing power of music was really prominent that night and love was truly the emotion that encompassed the whole venue. From his old-school classics like Lemonade and Different Side, to of course playing Sungazing towards the end of his set, Bibi took all 7,000 of us on a journey.

A monumental night to say the least.

The Martinez Brothers | Hï Ibiza

Chris Stussy | The Martinez Brothers | Hï Ibiza | Tuesday 24 September

For the closing parties, you've got to reel in the best of the best to send off a residency in style. That is exactly what The Martinez Brothers did to close out their third season at Hï Ibiza.

Before The Bros' took over The Theatre, Chris Stussy sent the packed-out club into a frenzy with a two hour set jam-packed with impeccable selections, including unreleased cuts and his own productions for which he is so famed.

A highlight that still lives in my head rent free weeks on, is Stuss dropping an unnamed, unreleased track by Chloe Caillet. Energy-fuelled, this peak time, main room banger is going to reign the clubs over the next few months. You heard it here first.
