Party preview | Pacha's Grand Closing Party with Peggy Gou

The very last party in Ibiza's clubbing calendar for summer 2024.

About Pacha Grand Closing Party

Ditching tradition, Pacha throws an official Grand Closing Party to bring the curtain down on its first full summer under its new regime. In past years, Solomun's closing party has served as the defacto closing, but for 2024, Pacha has turned to fashion icon and DJ personality Peggy Gou.

Unlike other closing parties which go for a volume of artists, Pacha takes a "less is more" approach, with an opener, peak-time slot and closing headliner playing the (quite literal) go-home set.

Want to know more? We answer the big questions: when? where? who? why? and how?

When?

Sunday 13 October, 23:30 to 06:00

Pacha's Grand Closing Party is the very last party taking place in an Ibiza super-club this summer.

That alone makes it special, but there's much more to it than that. This is the island's swansong - the opportunity for all the workers and music industry personnel to let their hair down after a long, hard slog over the summer and wave goodbye to the 2024 season.

Where?

Pacha - Ibiza's oldest club, having opened its doors in 1973.

Originally a converted finca, the building has undergone more regenerations than Doctor Who, expanding and updating almost year-on-year. Today's modern club is very different from the Pacha that stood in the same spot in 1973, as well as considerably larger.

That said, it still drips with that unmistakable Pacha signature.

In recent years, the dancefloor has been widened and the sound system upgraded, making the clubbing element equally as important as its famous VIP. The cherries logo indicates stylish and sophisticated clubbing.

Peggy Gou

Who?

Few artists have been on a career ascent like Peggy Gou. One of the most talked about DJs of the last decade, the Korean fashionista shows no signs of slowing down. Earlier this year, she released her highly-anticipated debut album I Hear You via XL Recordings.

Even before the LP dropped, Gou had caught the attention of the dance music world with tracks like It Makes You Forget (Itgehane) and the global smash hit (It Goes Like) Nanana.

Adding to the party's profile, veteran double-act 2manydjs are the perfect counter-balance to Gou's dynamic and high-energy headline performance.

Expect the crescendo of summer at Pacha that pulsed with rhythm and revelry under the group's new regime.

Want to make the night extra special? We're big fans of Pacha's "Eat Your Tickets" deal. For only €90 more, you can dine in one of Ibiza's best restaurants and then enter the club hassle-free after your meal. Conveniently, you can book directly through our party calendar.

The stage is set for one last night of musical bliss under the iconic cherries. This is your last chance to dance at Pacha before we wrap up an incredible season on Ibiza.

Why?

There's no such thing as a silly question, but there are those that are easy to answer. Because...

  • Only Peggy Gou's second Ibiza appearance of the summer, following her date at Circoloco at the start of July
  • Hear music from her debut album I Hear You, which was released earlier this year on XL Recordings
  • Pacha's glitterati will be dolled up to the nines for the occasion - and no doubt Ms. Gou will be too!
  • The opportunity to catch 2manydjs play should never be passed upon
  • Make the night extra special, by dining at Pacha's on-site El Restaurante, which is inclusive of admission to the club afterwards
  • The literal last party in an island super-club this summer - join faces from the music industry and all Ibiza's workers as we wave goodbye to another season the only way we know how: with one immense party

How?

Now a question with a simple answer: by heading below and grabbing your tickets.

For peace of mind, why not add insurance cover for 8% extra per ticket? This allows you to cancel up to 24 hours before the start of the party for any reason, should your plans change. Insurance policyholders can then claim the full value of tickets back with no quibbles.

Tickets are on sale now. See you on the dancefloor.
