Don't dates have a habit of creeping up on you? We can't quite believe we're writing this, but it's true: Akasha is preparing to celebrate its third anniversary on Saturday 9 November!
The 300-person capacity boutique club space at Las Dalias opened for business in autumn 2021.
Off the back of its most successful summer yet, Akasha turns three years old in less than a fortnight's time. Naturally, it has planned a hell of a party to mark the occasion.
Live sensation Jan Blomqvist, the Berlin-based vocalist, songwriter and synth player extraordinaire, is welcomed back for the occasion.
We had the pleasure of catching Jan perform live at Akasha last year and it was one of our favourite ever nights at the club. We can't wait for a repeat, this time with the promise of new material.
Last week, Blomqvist showcased new music from his forthcoming, as yet untitled, third studio album at ADE in Amsterdam. You can listen to new track Algorithm above.
Music director Igor Marijuan and Akasha regular Valentín Huedo complete the night's line-up. The third anniversary is part of Akasha's autumn series of parties.
The night before the third anniversary, it's another big one, as APSARA returns after debuting during the 2023-24 cool season. Island favourite Ida Engberg headlines, with Maurizio Schmitz joining her on the bill.
Coming up this weekend, the previously announced Satori live double-header takes place on 2 November. The start of November is a bumper weekend in San Carlos, with Nido on Sunday as well.
Even Akasha's December programme is starting to develop, with Dave Seaman and Steve Parry's Seladoria confirmed. Plus, tickets are already on sale for New Year's Eve on 31 December.
Tickets for everything above are on sale and available below, apart from the weekly Nido, for which you will need to visit this page.
