With the autumn equinox falling last week, while other parts of the world are readying for leafless trees and pulling out their winter closet, on Ibiza, this time of year only means one very contrasting thing: closing party season (and the sun still be shining!).
Several major party players have already shut their doors for the summer this month, but there are still a massive amount of closings happening between 5 and 11 October.
Spanning every major club on the island and featuring a wide range of musical genres, superstar DJs from around the world are flying in to end this season with a bang. Let’s dive in!
Soul Heaven | O Beach | Saturday 5 October
An O Beach staple renowned for its raw Soul anthems and dance worthy Disco beats, Soul Heaven takes over the poolside party venue for one last time in 2024. The soundtrack is brought to life by resident DJs Lucy Jane, Jamie Love and Grant Collins, plus a headline performance from the well-versed Groove Assassin.
ANTS | Ushuaïa | Saturday 5 October
The last ANTS (well, kinda...) is upon us on 5 October, as a stellar line-up of colony regulars and guest DJs take to the stage of Ushuaïa.
Two very special back-to-back sets take place from Andrea Oliva and Mahmut Orhan, as well as Nic Fanciulli and Cloonee. Plus, Archie Hamilton, Chelina Manuhutu, HoneyLuv and Raul Rodriguez all play solo. Remember, ANTS also handles Ushuaïa's Closing Party a week later...
Black Coffee | Hï Ibiza | Saturday 5 October
5 October is a busy one for closing parties this year, but few have the gravitas of Black Coffee's farewell at Hï Ibiza. A party known for attracting international A-List celebrities, Black Coffee has elevated his status to new heights (if that’s even possible) during his sixth season at Hï Ibiza.
For the closing, the Afro House master will be joined by Saturday night Club Room resident Damian Lazarus and Manoo in The Theatre. Meanwhile, the always great value Acid Pauli makes a rare appearance next door (if you know, you know).
Flower Power | Pacha | Saturday 5 October
This year, Flower Power has modernised and taken its iconic hippy theme to new levels whilst remaining true to its authentic vibe that made it so popular in the first place.
Sensational live act Bora Uza has smashed it out the park at his first ever headline residency. For the closing, he’ll be accompanied on stage by very special guests the Kings Of House NYC (Louie Vega & David Morales) for a spectacular showdown of Pacha's original party.
Woomoon | Cova Santa | Sunday 6 October
Ibiza born and bred hippy hangout Woomoon wows at the final showdown of summer at Cova Santa. An array of Deep House heads transform the already magical venue into a mystical haven where freedom and lunar empowerment rule all.
Viken Arman, Feathered Sun, Tanika, Tooker and Valentín Huedo will all guide you on a spiritual journey through sound and time. Just as important as the DJs, are the street performers and stunt people, who will entertain you from open to close.
Pyramid | Amnesia | Sunday 6 October
6 October sees Amnesia's trailblazing Techno party Pyramid push out a roster of underground goodness for the grand finale. The line-up includes Nina Kraviz, a killer back-to-back from Ricardo Villalobos and Luciano, plus Francesco Farfa and Franco Cinelli on the Terraza.
Over in the Main Room it gets even heavier in sound, as 999999999, Adiel, Luca Donzelli and Nico Moreno take over with their perplexing and pounding sonics.
Glitterbox | Hï Ibiza | Sunday 6 October
Disco, classic House, Soul and of course lots of glitter, the dazzling Glitterbox has scored probably one of its biggest line-ups of the summer to send-off the 2024 season in style.
Taking over all three rooms at Hi Ibiza once more, Groove Armada go back-to-back with Eats Everything in The Theatre, where Dimitri From Paris, Jamie 3:26 and The Shapeshifters also perform.
Kerri Chandler tops the bill of the Club Room, plus regulars Kiddy Smile and Luke Solomon also exert their signature sound. Undoubtedly one of the best line-ups the Wild Corner has ever seen this, Melon Bomb, Roger Sanchez and Smokin' Jo take to the groove-ridden baños.
Solomun +1 | Pacha | Sunday 6 October
Who's the striking viking's plus one for the closing party, you ask? Solomun invites German accomplice Gerd Janson to close out his self-named +1 residency under the famous cherries for the denouement of the season.
This will be Janson's only time playing at Pacha this summer, so this is one not to be missed. Solomun's last date at Pacha is always one for the books, so let's see what time this finishes up - and whether we get an afters to indulge in!
F*** ME I'M FAMOUS! | Ushuaïa | Monday 7 October
French EDM mainstay David Guetta puts on one last fête at his Ushuaïa home on 7 October. After yet another incredible summer from the Grammy-winning veteran, his ability to captivate sold-out crowds week after week proves the F*** ME I'M FAMOUS! wow factor is still going strong.
Playing alongside our host are Afrojack, Aspend & Phante and Paul Reynolds. Will Monsieur Guetta be back next year? You can almost count on it.
Kisstory | O Beach | Tuesday 8 October
For all the old school ravers who've been there since the beginning, you can experience the legendary Kisstory right up until the final week of the season this summer. It's one of the last parties to wrap up at O Beach, with a line-up of resident DJs pumping up the jam one last time for the Tuesday celebration.
Namaste | Las Dalias | Wednesday 9 October
We've celebrated an applause-worthy 26 years on the island for the vibrant and soulful Namaste in 2024. A fiesta that feels more like a close-knit family, Namaste immerses attendees in its authentic spirit and positive energy.
With music in the Las Dalias garden from 19:00, Namaste provides the full day to night experience with an array of Ibiza-based DJs. This might be the "summer closing", but for anybody here the week after, Namaste is back for an encore with its annual "Thank you" edition.
Do Not Sleep | Amnesia | Wednesday 9 October
The next gen of DJs are pulling up to Amnesia's Terrace on 9 October, as they take the famed dancefloor by storm for Do Not Sleep's final instalment of summer.
Cousins Max Dean and Luke Dean, who are making tsunami-like waves in the scene right now, go back-to-back, while industry best-buds LP Rhythm and Gaskin will also share the decks. Solo sets from Evie and Amsterdam wizard Locklead will round out the night's performances.
Miguelle & Tons present Two & A Half Cats | Chinois Ibiza | Wednesday 9 October
This summer, Miguelle & Tons have played at just about every underground party you could name: Paradise, Music On, No Art, Solid Grooves, the list goes on... Now they bring their own Two & A Half Cats to Ibiza, taking over Chinois for one night only.
Guti (live), Ale Le Tuglie, Calvin Clarke and Ageless join them on the night.
Music On | Pacha | Thursday 10 & Friday 11 October
When one closing party isn't enough, you throw two! This year, Music On mastermind Marco Carola is splitting his highly anticipated closing party into two parts, kicking-off on 10 October.
While he typically shares the stage with one or two guests, this time he’s going all out, inviting four top-tier Tech House acts Cloonee, Mason Collective, Idriss D and Danyelino. The night after is equally weighty, as duo of the moment ANOTR and Joey Daniel line-up.
With the party running until 07:00 on both occasions, there’s plenty of music to dive into, as each DJ brings their unique groove-worthy rhythms to the dancefloor.

Kerri Chandler presents Kaoz Theory | Chinois Ibiza | Thursday 10 October
Closing out his incredible debut six-date residency at Chinois Ibiza this summer, on 10 October House music royalty Kerri Chandler presents his highly-respected Kaoz Theory one last time. Gorgon City and Minimal House head Dennis Quin are his guests on the night.
Sophisticated in sound and stature, this residency has been the perfect pairing of artist and venue.
Pool Party | O Beach | Friday 11 October
Easily one of O Beach's busiest days, Pool Party on Fridays has been in full force this summer, attracting crowds in their thousands each and every week. You can enjoy one last hurrah with music from the O Beach resident clan, as they send serotonin levels soaring with your favourite House music anthems.
Hernán Cattáneo | Las Dalias | Friday 11 October
Legendary Argentine DJ Hernán Cattáneo throws the last of his trio of day to night showcases. For the finale, he invites good friend and fellow Progressive House master Nick Warren to go back-to-back, not once, but twice - first outdoors under the stars and later inside Akasha.
Support comes from head programmer Igor Marijuan. If you were quick enough to snare tickets for this one, congratulations. It's going to be a full house and it's going to rock!

Pablo Fierro presents We're Here | Chinois Ibiza | Friday 11 October
Around the world and back again - all without leaving the same spot. That is the premise of Pablo Fierro presents We’re Here. Another record-breaking summer at at the boujee Chinois Ibiza. Malóne, Cincity, Felix Da Funk and Marti Martello join our well-travelled host to cap things off.
