Next month, London's very own E1 geezer East End Dubs is upping his island game with a special edition of his acclaimed extENDed party series. On Sunday 8 September, he takes over 528 Ibiza for a one-off, all-day rave that promises to be one of the season's highlights.
Known for his deep, analog-driven House and Minimal grooves, East End Dubs has designed the extENDed format to allow him to build a party from the ground up.
Unlike his Eastenderz showcases at Cova Santa, where he invites some of the scene's most exciting talent, this exclusive event is all about him and his own musical journey.
As the name implies, extENDed sees him play from open to close. After a successful UK tour visiting cities such as Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham and Cardiff, and excursions to Amsterdam and Barcelona, it is finally landing on Ibiza.
This daytime fiesta offers clubbers a rare chance to experience a master at work. The extended set will see him gradually layering sounds, touching on various corners of electronic music and exploring depths that a standard length DJ set simply doesn't allow.
Since launching his Eastenderz label in 2014, East End Dubs has become a key figure in the underground scene, not only as a DJ but also as a developer of fresh talent.
His commitment to quality and innovation is evident in everything he does, and this extENDed showcase is biggest example of his artistry.
With one of four Eastenderz dates ticked off at Cova Santa, this all-day affair at 528 is the perfect place to allow EED to do something different: lock in the groove and take the crowd on a hypnotic journey from daylight through to sunset and then nightfall in an open-air setting.
