Spotify playlist | Lissy Lü's Ibiza 2024 Hitlist

Here's some music you might be hearing early doors at Amnesia on 29 July, 19 August and 2 September.

When I'm on the dancefloor, it's all about the music.

I've never been one of those ravers to stand and chat. I take my dancefloor antics seriously. Maybe that makes me a bit of a nerd, but for me, it's a great opportunity to discover new music and hear the sounds of the new generation. After all, there really is no better place to do so than Ibiza.

Don't get me wrong, making unexpected lifelong friends on the dancefloor is a lot of fun, but if you're a proper music enthusiast like me, you'll understand

In 2022, the track of the summer was undoubtedly B.O.T.A. by Eliza Rose. Last year, it was ANOTR's Relax My Eyes. This year, there are a number of strong contenders. From industry heavyweights to unexpected hits from newbies - this playlist covers them all, stretching House to Minimal to Deep-Tech.

If you're into nights like Paradise at Amnesia, The Martinez Brothers at Hï Ibiza, Music On at Pacha or the weekly parties at DC10, then this playlist is where you can find some of the tracks that have captivated these dancefloors this season.

There are a few givens, but it is here that you can discover more niche tracks that haven’t seem to hit the mainstream just yet, but are well and truly on the radar.

Lissy Lü's Ibiza 2024 Hitlist

Track numero uno, it only makes sense for it to be Chris Stussy's 2024 release Desire on his very own Up The Stuss.

A track that had the dance music world in a complete stir for the best part of six months before finally being released, this catchy, high-energy anthem is a masterclass in Stussy's ever-evolving sound.

This track is a perfect example of why he's in such high demand worldwide and has been doing the rounds in clubs and festivals in most territories.

Delving a little more leftfield, Mala Fama by MOEAIKE has become this summer's spearhead track of the Melodic Techno world. Though they're artists that remain a little unknown, this track has undoubtedly put Italian duo Roberto Dell'Osso and Gaetano Laterza on the map with their use of beautiful ethnic motifs and soul-bending percussion.

It is a 2024 dancefloor staple, lighting up sets from top DJs like KEINEMUSIK, Black Coffee and more.

From completely dominating dancefloors with their number one tracks not only in Ibiza but around the world last summer, Dutch duo Jessy and Ozzie AKA ANOTR, have only gone and done the same again. Come on guys, give everyone else a chance.

I class their 2023 album The Reset a musical masterpiece, with tracks such as Vertigo and Relax My Eyes both reinforcing this. This summer, it's their latest single How You Feel that's sent shockwaves through the industry. To call this is a feel-good track, would be an understatement.

With the iconic vocals of Kali, vibrant basslines, intricate percussion and sweeping atmospherics that flow through the track's chimey breaks, How You Feel is unarguably another (or should I say ANOTR) contender for track of the summer.

This article wouldn't be complete without a mention of the UK's Josh Baker.

He’s got his fanbase well and truly sucked in with his hard-hitting Minimal sounds and basslines capable of blowing the roof off. After the well-received Handle Me on his You & Me imprint earlier this year, this edit of SWV's 1992 hit Weak has captivated an audience on TikTok, racking up millions of plays across streaming platforms in just over a month of release.
