Some things feel like a long-time coming - and Appetite London's debut on Ibiza is certainly one of those things.
After becoming one of the UK capital's most flavoursome parties, fans have been craving an Ibiza edition to materialise. Rumours had been circulated the last few seasons, but nothing ever came to fruition. Thankfully, that is finally being put right in summer 2024.
Elliot Schooling & Liam Palmer are bringing their underground friends to Club Chinois for a one-off on Tuesday, 9 July.
Joining them on the night is fellow London selector and MicroHertz label boss Archie Hamilton and You & Me creator Josh Baker. Those four names alone guarantee a night of smokey, rolling Minimal House grooves. Ibiza locals Yass & Mali complete the billing.
Appetite has made a real name for itself, not only via its party series but its 10,000-capacity festival on the outskirts of East London and successful jaunts to Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) and Barcelona's OFF Sonár, as well as its recently launched label namesake.
Ibiza was the missing piece to that jigsaw. Hopefully, this will be start of many more to come.
People in the know will already be familiar, but if you've been in the dark up until now, next Tuesday represents the ideal opportunity to say "I was there at the first one."
