Anitta stuns on mesmerising stage performance at Pacha

The Brazilian Pop sensation wows the cosmopolitan dancefloor at the home of the cherries.

For two nights this summer, Brazilian Reggaeton superstar Anitta has hit the Pacha stage hard to bring her Baile Funk experience to her adoring fans. We went down for the second helping to find out if she could live up to her reputation as one of the world's most vivacious performers.

Flocking in their masses from all over Europe, the vast majority of the Pacha crowd were "Malandras" - Brazilian compatriots drawn to the Ibiza super-club by Anitta's powerful vocal attributes and curvaceous physique!

Transcending traditional genres, her music seamlessly blends Funk, Reggaeton and Pop, with elements of Samba. This electric mix has allowed her to appeal to a broad audience, crossing both cultural and linguistic barriers.

Supported by four stunning female dancers, the eight-time Latin Grammy Award nominee showcased tracks from her latest album, Funk Generation, along with a selection of her biggest hits.

For 45 minutes, she barely sang - and in truth, she didn't need to. Those in attendance were happy to takeover vocal duties, singing along to all her lyrics. As they did so, they were captivated by Anitta's sizzling and high-energy choreography.

Tracks like Vai Malandra and Downtown demonstrated Anitta's ability to merge Brazilian rhythms with mainstream Pop, creating her unique and infectious sound which had the Pacha dancefloor jumping.

Her ability to effortlessly switch between Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and English in her songs demonstrated, not only her linguistic dexterity, but also her capacity to connect to a wider fan base.

We even met a couple of Anitta's fans, who had travelled all the way from Newcastle in the north-east of England especially for her performance. Needless to say, they loved it. We all loved it.

Sadly, that was the last of Anitta's appearances this summer. However, Mondays at Pacha continue with the remaining Diplo dates and the rest of the Pacha Presents series. And for fans of Rap music, there are two huge shows with Tyga taking place 22 July and 5 August.
