When?

Midweeks on Ibiza take a little dip, but by Thursday we're already ramping back up to the weekend and nowhere is this more true than at Afterlife. The party has caught the imagination of the public with its special effects and futuristic, Trance-referencing soundtrack.
Where?
Found in Playa d'en Bossa, high-tech Hï Ibiza was voted the world's number one club by readers of DJ Mag in 2022, 2023 and 2024. Opening in 2017, it wasted no time in making an impact. Growing year-on-year, odds are Hï Ibiza will celebrate its most successful summer again.

Tale Of Us exited 2015 asserting they had no interest in a weekly Ibiza residency, but it was a diversion tactic to throw fans off the scent. By Spring, they had departed the Life & Death stable and formed their own breakaway label and party series, Afterlife.
After taking a spot at Space during its final year, the party moved to Privilege for one summer, before returning to Playa d'en Bossa in 2018 where it has remained ever since.
Who?
Students together at a music production college in Milan, Karmine Conte and Matteo Milleri bonded over their shared love of dance music, literature and the arts. It was during these formative years that the Tale Of Us project began.
Heavily influenced by Trance music, Tale Of Us have pioneered the sound that has become known as Melodic Techno. This bottled aural euphoria uses dramatic breakdowns and arpeggio chords. This is the signature sound of Afterlife - a monument built to their refined tastes.
Coupled with gawp-inducing CGI imagery, Afterlife is an emotional roller coaster.
As well as our protagonists, the roster also pulls heavily from the namesake Afterlife label. You will find multiple dates for Argy, Colyn, Innellea, Kevin de Vries, Massano and Mind Against.
On top of these names, TOU also invite a crop of leading names from the Techno realm, including Kobosil and Clara Cuvé.

Strongest week?
25 July with Maceo Plex and Fideles joining TOU in The Theatre and Mind Against, Layla Benitez and Henri Bergmann playing elsewhere is the one that stands out, but CAMELPHAT's annual appearance two weeks earlier will also be a roadblock affair.
New for 2024
Since 2022, Afterlife has been one of Ibiza's most popular nights, guaranteeing packed dancefloors every week. But if there had been any criticism, then it was the over-usage of phones to film on the dancefloor. Well, for 2024 Afterlife has listened and implemented a ban.
The instruction reads: "This is a phone-free event, live in the moment. Phone-free will mean no photos or videos - you will still be able to take your phones into the club."
Any surprises?
Oh, there will be surprises. That much is guaranteed. The line-up for the closing party remains a guarded secret for now.
Anything else worth mentioning?
The closing party on 3 October is once again a day-to-night affair, starting across the road at Ushuaïa from 17:00 before moving to Hï Ibiza for the finale. Head here for more info.
