About Solomun +1
Over the years, Pacha's Sunday night Solomun +1 has proved to be one of Ibiza's perma-popular parties. The formula is simple but effective. Swimming against the tide for stacked line-ups and short sets, Solomun invites a single guest each week.
Then both he and they both get extended set times, almost always culminating in a back-to-back for the last few hours to see us home. Since year one, the crowds have come flocking, especially the girls. Solomun has one of the best men-to-women ratio splits of any Ibiza dancefloor.

When?
Every Sunday night, starting 23 June to 6 October | 23:59 to 06:00
Sundays are huge on Ibiza. In terms of parties, you are spoilt for choice. It's one of the most diverse days with something for everybody and several big hitters - one of them is Solomun. Not that he feels the competition. Pacha on Sundays is constantly slammed.
Where?
Pacha - Ibiza's oldest club, having opened its doors in 1973 - 50 years ago last year.
Originally a converted finca, the building has undergone more regenerations than Doctor Who, expanding and updating almost year-on-year. Today's modern club is very different from the Pacha that stood in the same spot in 1973, as well as considerably larger.
That said, it still drips with that unmistakable Pacha signature. In recent years, the dancefloor has been widened and the sound system upgraded, making the clubbing element equally as important as its famous VIP.

Who?
Solomun's format is unique on Ibiza. Extended sets are a rarity here, with promoters often choosing quantity. Not the case on Sundays at Pacha, where quality is king.
Typically the +1 opens the night dead on midnight (though there are special occasions where Solomun mixes things up). They play until 02:30, when the big Bosnian takes over for an extended set of his own. To end the night, the pair go back-to-back from around 05:30.
Solomun always introduces some fresh faces each year to push things forward and 2024 is no different, although lots of favourites are back too. Kristian Beyer from Âme, Gerd Janson and HAAi are amongst the returning names.
Let's be completely honest though, this night is all about Solomun. He is the star drawer with impeccable taste and his crowd trusts him resolutely.
Last year's anthem of summer
Sonickraft | So High | Diynamic
Biggest week?
For obvious reasons, Dixon's date is always one of the most highly anticipated dates in the whole Ibiza calendar. After being a midsummer fixture for many years, Dixon was the guest at a mammoth closing party in 2023. This year, you can catch him on 8 September.
Any surprises?
As always. Barry Can't Swim on 22 September is the one that has caught our eye since the announcement.
Music
There has been some hot discussion as to what direction Solomun has been going in recently. Shouty, post Punk influenced vocals, layered over Tech House beats, seeped into his club sets. The debate even made its way into the columns of The New Yorker. Solomun courts controversy!
While his music selection may have shifted, one thing that didn't change was the dancefloor filling up early and staying packed all night. No questioning the energy of the room. If Solomun had moved, then the crowd was happy to move with him.
Anything else to look out for?
Yes. The three Solomun all night long sets that are dotted throughout summer. Those dates are 21 July, 29 September and the 23 June opening party.
