Moving into its eighth year, the newest chapter in Cosmic Pineapple's journey begins in 2024, as it lays down its roots in the stunning pine-scented setting of Cova Santa. Since inception, the mini-festival escape has become a celebration of the Ibizan spirit and the magic of life.
This summer, both Cova Santa stages are fully plugged into the mains, as the outside terrace - Lemuria Stage - will be the daytime dancefloor. Later, the Space Rave takes over from 23:00, becoming the energetic holding pen.
Hosted by the indigenous Venezuelan Amazonian artist Chabeli, outdoors will see a collection of original sounds across each party. The opening on Thursday 6 June, welcomes island-based innovator Nightmares On Wax for his first island gig this summer.
Downstairs in the Space Rave, you can dive into the realms of electronic music, with Xx Isis xX as its resident. Merging magic and music, leading women Ellen Allien and Eclair Fifi are also billed for the opening.
Newly announced, hippy-spirited Acid Pauli has just been revealed as the first secret guest, completing the line-up.
Across the other seven dates, you can find the likes of Carl Craig, Cassy, Cici, Curses, Danny Daze, Heidi, Josh Wink, Marc Romboy, Mathew Jonson (live), Osunlade, Roman Flügel and several currently unannounced special guests.
What to know about the profile of artist this could be? Well, a look back at Cosmic Pineapple's track record: Rob da Bank, Adam Beyer, Sasha, DJ Tennis, Ida Engberg and even Jamie Jones have all been last-minute surprise announcements. Meanwhile, Kim Booth brought Laurent Garnier back to Ibiza for a rare island appearance earlier this month (pictured above).
Do her connections have any limitations?
Cosmic Pineapple is a party that embraces the ethereal. Its energy is manifested through its other-worldly experiences and healing arts offerings, that take place throughout the day. But the energetic frequency that links all these elements together is the music.
What does the party’s history mean for its summer ahead? With curator Kim Booth's extensive network of industrial pals, we think it could be a very interesting debut year in the San José hills.
